Job Title: Recruiter 
Compensation:  $62,000 - $78,000 annually
Location: Hybrid. The Din Tai Fung USA Corporate Office is located in Arcadia, CA.

About Us:
Din Tai Fung is a Chinese restaurant specializing in Xiao Long Bao, or steamed soup dumplings, each made by hand with our “Golden Ratio” of 18 folds. Originally founded in Taiwan as a cooking oil retail business in 1958, Din Tai Fung was reborn as a dumpling and noodle restaurant in 1972. Since its founding, Din Tai Fung has become world-renowned for its quality, standardization, and service. It currently has over 170 locations worldwide, including 14 US locations in California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada.

About the Role:
The Recruiter maintains and consistently improves the company’s recruiting by planning, implementing, evaluating and improving recruiting policies, programs and practices. The Recruiter recruits and hires qualified exempt and non-exempt candidates to hit company goals. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Establishes recruiting requirements by identifying the managers’ and stores’ needs
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and building connections with community organizations, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, social networking sites, and other resources. 
  • Attracts applicants by placing and managing job advertisements and working with recruiters and headhunters
  • Managing job posts on assigned job boards and sources
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants and analyzing responses against the job description
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring job offers and compensation practices, and emphasizing benefits and perks
  • Stays current on legislation and regulations regarding recruitment and onboarding
  • Understand the needs of applicants and employees and address them in a timely manner
  • Complies with local, state, and federal government labor laws and procedures

Job Requirements:
  • 2-4 Years of Relevant Experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience as a Recruiter required
  • Experience in restaurant recruiting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and able to adapt to change
  • Positive and Professional Attitude
